The field of artificial intelligence is getting larger and more complicated by the day. A single year worth of progress may seem a decade to an unprepared onlooker. There is no lack of scientific breakthroughs, practical use-cases, and the ‘hype’ around it. However, the magical nature of its achievements is deceiving. Artificial intelligence is neither truly intelligent nor evenly distributed – one field may be years behind another, and none of them can be done without human intervention.
Replacing a human was never a goal though. Helping established industry professionals to do their job more effectively is enough. It may be achievable by utilizing best practices across different machine learning fields.
